Tis’ the season to give thanks for what we have. We all love the opportunity to pay it forward. It just feels good. Morrie’s Chippewa Valley Mazda we has partnered with Gordy’s County Market to bring you 90 Days of Giving.
Every month for the next 90 days Morrie’s will give one car away along with $500.00 worth of gas or groceries. That’s 3 cars and $1500 worth of gas in 90 days! The Metropolis Resort and Waterpark also jumped on board and put together a great package to pair up with each car give away.
There will be three give-a-ways, happening on December 22nd, January 31st, and February 20th. If you know someone in need this holiday season, nominate them for the cause. All you have to do is submit the name of the person or non-profit organization that you think deserves the car. E-mail us and tell us who you nominated and why at 90daysofgiving@morries.com. This is one opportunity to really help a family in need. Do something great, help out a friend and give back this season with 90 Days of Giving from Morrie’s. We want to thank The Metropolis Resort and our friends at Gordy’s County Market for their contributions. For more information and official rules click here.

I would like to nominate my brother, Douglas for the Moories Mazda give away. He has struggled through many tribulations in the past 7 years , and yet continues to keep a good attitude ,and his head up. In 2005 he survived open heart heart surgery , in which he was pronounced dead on the operating table, followed by 11 days in ICU. After recovering from that he, continued to work for a couple of more years, although his health was rapidly deteriorating ,
Since then, he has been suffering with fibromyalgia , nerve damage , and severe neuropathy,in his lower extremities, which causes almost complete numbness in his legs and feet. He now uses a walking stick , and needs help with day to day activities. As result, he has been out of work , and without an income for the last five and a half years , causing his house to go into forclosure more than once. I have borrowed him 2/3 of my retirement fund to allow him to keep his head above water , and save his house. In the meantime , he has sold most of his personal belongs in order to hang on by a thread. He recently recieved his disability. This has made it possible for him to catch up on some back taxes, outstanding bills, etc. Still, he struggles with the basics. He does have an old truck, although it has no heat , and is in need of many other costly repairs that are unaffordable to him at this time. It is also a manual transmission which is very dangerous for him to drive , due to his neuropathy. He lives in the country and is 20-35 minutes from EauClaire , Chippewa , or Menomonie. He desperatly needs a safe vehicle to drive hisself back and forth to town , and to his many Dr. appointments. The biggest reason I am nominating my brother is because he is the most giving , kind hearted person , that I know. He has helped so many people in the past , out of the goodness of his heart , without ever asking for anything in return. He is loved by many , and a gift liked this would be so greatly appreciated by all. I can’t think of anyone more deserving! Thank you for your consideration. Sincerely, Susan Lawrence

Hello
I would like to nominate my mother for the 90 days of giving. Her car is on its last leg. She goes above and beyond her duties as a mother and grandmother. She helps people when they need help and takes friends in when they don’t have a home until they get on their feet. She has a heart of gold.
