We’re proud to bring you live coverage from the New York Auto Show!
The crew from Morrie’s traveled over 1200 miles this week to the big apple to bring you coverage of the New York International Auto Show. We’ve been gearing up for the big event for months now and we are proud to be able to bring you exclusive coverage from the biggest automaker’s in the world.
Day 1 was quite busy with a number of different press conferences to attend. Our first stop of the day was the Ford Motor Company press conference where the all-new 2015 Ford Focus and 50th anniversary Mustang were released.
We hightailed it over to the Hyundai booth following the Ford press conference to catch the unveiling of the all-new highly anticipated Hyundai Sonata. The goal of this redesign aims to appeal to a broader audience and make the vehicles look more like the rest of the Hyundai vehicle lineup, which we think worked great.
Next on the list was the Nissan press conference where we got our first up close look at the all-new redesigned Murano. Based off the resonance concept that was introduced at the 2013 Detroit Auto Show. This production ready version drew a lot of excitement among spectators here in NY.
Toward the end of the day we began to lose steam but not enough to miss the last two big events of the day! Bentley held their press conference to re-introduce the 2015 Bentley Continental GT Speed and Flying Spur V-8 models, which we originally saw at the Geneva Motor Show in 2013.
Last, but certainly not least, we waited patiently for the last press conference of the day, where Mazda unveiled the 2015 25 year edition of the MX-5 Miata which turns 25 this year! We got tons of great coverage today and we can’t wait to share the rest of the excitement with you tomorrow when we return for press day 2!
