Morrie’s Automotive Group takes on the Central Crown Rally

Over the weekend, a group of employees from our marketing team took part in the Central Crown rally. We set off from Minneapolis and headed out to downtown Chicago with plenty of pit stops, sight seeing and other fun adventures along the way. With over 50 cars taking part in the rally, we had some stiff competition but our vehicle – which we appropriately named the “Banana Bronco” pulled through and we came in 26th place! Check out the highlight video below for a quick rundown of our trip!

The Central Crown rally wasn’t just for fun though, proceeds from the event went to support the Minneasota based non-profit People Serving People. People Serving People is the largest and most comprehensive, family-focused shelter in Minnesota. What distinguishes People Serving People from other emergency shelters is the broad range of on-site programs and services designed to address common barriers facing homeless families. Our ultimate goal is to permanently end a family’s homelessness with one visit to our shelter. We’re proud to be able to assist this great cause here in the Twin Cities.

Check out more from our trip in the photo gallery below!

As you can see, we had a blast driving this 1973 Bronco across three states, five cities/towns and many many many gas stops! We’re looking forward to taking part in the Central Crown rally again next year!
