For most folks, Monday marks the end of the weekend, a return to the daily grind, and several days until the weekend returns. Last Monday, however, a group of fourteen Morrie’s employees kicked off the week by supporting a good cause and having a lot of fun in the process. The team came together to help Twin Cities Habitat For Humanity build a house in Maple Grove for a local family.
Upon arrival first thing in the morning, we were divided into work groups to tackle a variety of projects. Focus areas included assisting framing inside the house, caulking the exterior, painting the exterior and front porch. At the end of the day, everyone left fulfilled seeing the impact they had on the build and knowing that their work would make a meaningful impact on the local community through Morrie’s Buy Happy Giving program.
