Morrie’s West Bend Honda at Wisconsin’s Largest Christmas Parade

On the Sunday after Thanksgiving, members of the West Bend and neighboring communities packed the streets in Downtown West Bend for its 66th annual Christmas Parade. The parade, which has grown to become the largest Holiday parade in Wisconsin, attracted an estimated 25,000 attendees and featured 80 different floats—including Morrie’s West Bend Honda! The parade provided a great opportunity for us to get out in the community and get to know our future neighbors.

For the parade, we decked out the Morrie’s West Bend Honda Ridgeline with holiday lights, a Christmas tree and accompanying holiday-themed music. Along the parade route, Morrie’s attendees enjoyed handing out more than 4,000 pieces of candy, interacting with local residents, and representing the Morrie’s family.

Future Morrie’s West Bend Honda General Manager Bob Splittstoesser summed up the evening quite nicely:

“It was truly amazing to see the outpouring of support for us, Morrie’s West Bend Honda, the new neighbor in town. People were enthusiastic about learning more about Morrie’s newest location. I was blown away at the number of people inquiring about careers at Morrie’s, car shopping at Morrie’s and getting their Honda vehicles services at Morrie’s. I wholeheartedly look forward to introducing the West Bend community to the Buy Happy approach to car ownership.”

The West Bend Christmas Parade marks the first of many community events that team from Morrie’s West Bend Honda plans to attend leading up to and following the opening of the area’s first Honda dealership in the summer of 2019.
