Well… That’s it. The last MN C&C of the year. What is there to say besides “thank you”? Thank you to everyone who came out to this event. To the event last month, and the one before that, and the one before that, and on and on down the line. It was a great year of MN C&C and it was everyone who attended these events that made it so special.
Fall Color Tour
The best part of fall is the beautiful colors as the leaves change. Our favorite way to see these changes is by going for a cruise in a convertible. Get one last rental in before the end of the MHCC season and go for a drive through Minnesota. Check out the DNR’s fall color finder to discover the best time and place to view gorgeous fall foliage!
If you need a route to take your freshly rented MHCC convertible, check out this list of roads that are “pure bliss in the fall” or these so called “rainbow routes“. Although it’s still early in the season for southern Minnesota, the northern parts of the state are nearly at 100% color change! Get out and see the best fall has to offer, and don’t forget the pumpkin spice!
Fall is finally here, and with it come a whole slew of new events. Minnesota is home to multitudes of pumpkin patches, apple orchards, haunted houses and more. Check out our list below for places to take advantage of these seasonal activities! More >
As the season for MN C&C winds down, we had a beautiful morning for the second to last show of the year. It was great to be able to share a selection of unique cars with everyone from Hyundai (the new Genesis G80), Maserati (the all-new Levante SUV), and Bentley (with a stunning Bentayga). We’ll see everyone again next month, this time on the second Saturday of the month (Oct. 8th).
Since I was old enough to remember the Minnesota State Fair was just something that meant the Summer was about to end, and school was soon to be back in session. Now that I’m a little bit older, and questionably smarter, I’ve continued to go to the State Fair because as a true Minnesotan, it’s my duty. A duty because of what you see, smell, feel, discover, un-discover quickly while it’s stuck to your shoe, and so on. Around 2 million people go to the fair during it’s two week span, so what I wanted to do is put together a guide to make sure you don’t miss anything while you’re there. So sit down, strap in and let’s begin!
It was a fantastic day for the August edition of MN C&C and of course, we had to bring out some really special cars. Hopefully everyone stopped by our booth and grabbed some water or a pair of sunglasses and checked out the gorgeous Bentley Continental GT3-R, the new McLaren 570S, the MHCC VW Thing, and everything else we brought to the show. We’ll be looking forward to MN C&C again in September and hope to see you there!
Have you ever wondered what would happen is cars were allowed to compete at the Olympics instead of just athletes? No? Just us?
Well humor us anyway and keep reading to see which vehicles we’d pick to be apart of #TeamMorries in the 2016 Automotive Olympic games!
Name: Nissan GTR Nismo
Sport: 100M Sprint
Hometown: Kaminokawa, Tochigi, Japan
- Accelerated from 0-60 MPH in 2.9 seconds during Car and Driver testing
- 1/4-Mile in 11.2 seconds
- Held Nurburgring Production Car lap record at 7:08.679
The Nissan GTR Nismo has been on a strict diet, and focusing as much on raw speed as agility. The GTR Nismo is a true rising star in the world of Track and Field and should be a strong contender for multiple gold medals in the 2016 Automotive Olympics.
The July MN C&C event is usually hit or miss in terms of attendance depending on when the 4th of July falls during the week. Last year was pretty quiet with lots of people heading to their cabins or being preoccupied with other holiday festivities. This year however, MN C&C had a MASSIVE turnout with over 1,000 cars and roughly 7,000 spectators that showed up! It was simply amazing to see so many cars and people all within the confines of the Auto MotorPlex in Chanhassen. FOX9 news even came out to broadcast live from the show and did a segment with our very own Ben Robertaccio.
We’d like to thank everyone for coming out to MN C&C and making it such a great event this month and we hope you enjoy your 4th of July weekend safely!
After a lengthy but much-needed renovation, Morrie’s Minnetonka Subaru has re-opened its show floor with one of the biggest Subaru dealerships in the midwest. To celebrate the occasion, they threw a big party with food trucks, games, a climbing wall, a garden center, and live music! To cap off the grand re-opening, Morrie’s Minnetonka Subaru donated over $31,000 to Pause 4 Paws, a local organization that provides assistance to animal shelters and rescue agencies. We’d like to thank everyone that came out to see our new show floor and enjoy the festivities with us!
We wanted to thank everyone that was able to join us at MN C&C on Saturday. It was a really great turnout and we hope you all enjoyed the show as much as we did.
