Update: The 90 Days of Giving at Morrie’s Chippewa Valley Mazda

Morrie’s Chippewa Valley Mazda is proud to be able to partner with Gordy’s County Market to bring you the 90 Days of Giving. Over the past 90 days Morrie’s has been taking nominations for individuals or non-profit organizations in need of a vehicle for transportation. Last month Morrie’s Mazda delivered a vehicle to our 2nd winner, Veronica Young.

90 Days of Giving

Veronica was nominated by her daughter’s school counselor, Brooke Kaldor (pictured below). Brooke was inspired to nominate Veronica after seeing her strength and determination to build a life for her family in Chippewa Valley. Veronica was walking over four miles to and from work each day. On her way home from work she would stop and pick up her 4th grade daughter and they would both walk a mile home. It’s been a very cold winter and we felt that she was more than deserving of the vehicle.

90 Days of GivingVeronica was without transportation when Morrie’s Mazda, Gordy’s County Market, B95 radio and the WEAU News Team showed up at her home along with her daughter and school counselor to deliver the vehicle. Veronica was beyond excited and surprised. We presented the family with a 2006 Suzuki Forenza and $500 worth of gas from Gordy’s County Market. Click here to see Veronica’s reaction when we arrived. We are proud to be able to give back to the community that we live and do business in.

Nominations for the last round of 90 Days of Giving will be accepted until the submission deadline on February 17th 2013 at 12:00am. We will announce the 3rd and final winner next week. Thank you to everyone who took the time to nominate individuals in need. We look forward to helping out members of our community more in the future.
